I’m a software engineer with 8+ years in backend development and microservices — PHP since the start, Go since 2019, Kubernetes in between (CKAD certified). Since 2022 I work on open-finance infrastructure at Brankas: bank connectors across Southeast Asia first, then a regulated open-banking platform for a bank in Jordan, and now a national Open Finance Platform in Malaysia, where most of my time goes into FAPI-grade OAuth2 and the portals around it.
Before that I led a backend team building hospital systems: online patient queues, BPJS integration, and an HMS that clinics rely on daily. I’ve also run online exam systems for schools, where a thousand students hitting submit at the same time teaches you exactly what your database can and can’t take. I write about what breaks and how I fix it.
Outside of work I co-founded Kongkow IT Pekanbaru, a community where IT professionals, students, and academics in Pekanbaru meet to learn and share.
